Key highlights of the study What are the types of job roles available in AI? 90.7% of job roles available in the artificial intelligence industry are full-time. We analyzed 20,833 jobs, out of which 18,894 were full-time. Then, there are 1059 part-time roles, which is equivalent to 5.1%. Other types of job roles include contract (3.2%), temporary (0.5%), and internships (0.3%). Most jobs available in the AI industry are full-time, and there are not many internship opportunities available for freshers. It also indicates that businesses in the AI industry are taking their work more seriously as they are only seeking full-time resources. There were only 81 internship positions available. It could mean that as a fresher, you might have a hard time finding opportunities to learn. We have gone through some of these jobs on various portals and found that usually, part-time roles are AI and ML trainers and several internship opportunities. These roles are well-paid considering they are part-time and also provide learning opportunities.  On the other hand, full-time roles include robotic scientists, AI product managers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and deep learning engineers. Full-time roles require more experience and qualifications in the AI industry.  Are there remote jobs available for artificial intelligence? Nowadays, after the impact of COVID-19, there is a significant surge in the demand for work-from-home opportunities. As a leading resume-writing service provider, we have also noticed a substantial increase in clients applying for remote work. Unlike before COVID-19, there is now a widespread demand across various fields, with everyone keen to explore the possibility of remote work. So yes, remote jobs are available in the AI industry. However, their numbers are significantly lower compared to on-site jobs. Out of the 27,633 jobs we analyzed, only 5,546 were remote, which is equal to 20.07%. On the other hand, 71.66% of jobs are on-site. And only 8.20% are hybrid. AI companies are not entertaining the hybrid working model. As AI requires constant training and development, they are sticking to the on-site work culture, as data suggests.  In the AI industry, employees cannot expect to find remote jobs easily. AI is a field that requires constant interaction and team collaboration. Hence, employers can also focus on fostering a culture of teamwork. What is the average salary range of AI jobs in the US?
